Adoption Counseling
Adoption is extremely complex and involves a great deal of grief and loss for adoptees and birth parents. The separation of a mother and her baby is trauma and this trauma is lifelong. Adoption is often glorified and presented as a fairytale which further complicates things for all members of the adoption constellation. Healing is possible and there is support available from people who have experience with adoption and can better understand your lived experience.
